Royal Caribbean Cruises
Bestcruiserates is excited to present Royal Caribbean Cruises as one of our innovative cruise selections. Royal Caribbean has been offering unique vacation cruise experiences since 1968. The Miami-based cruise line's history is decked with a number of "firsts", including the first rock-climbing wall, ship-length promenade of restaurants and shops and an ice-skating rink. Royal Caribbean's cruise ships sail to a host of 280 ports in 81 countries, including exciting itineraries to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Alaska, Canada and New England, Europe, the Panama Canal, Hawaii, South America, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia/New Zealand.
The line consists of over 20 ships, with more under development. Royal Caribbean takes credit for having the world's largest cruise ship with its Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, both holding 5,400 passengers in its 220,000 tons. Many of their other ships are considered some of the largest at sea, including the 3,600 passenger 160,000 ton Freedom of the Seas. Voyager of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas -- all are hefty ships holding 3,114 passengers aboard their 142,000 tons.
Royal Caribbean Cruises appeal to families, couples and singles that enjoy an active lifestyle. Basketball courts, in-line skating track, onboard ice-skating rinks, golfing greens, surfing on ship and the signature rock climbing wall, provide the cruising guest with as much activity and exercise as one desires.
Newer additions to the fleet continue upon the innovation tradition inherent in Royal Caribbean's lifeblood. The Oasis of the Seas showcases the first Boardwalk-like carousel at sea, amazing high diving performances at the Aqua Theatre, and open-air, lush-landscaped Central Park. Takie in a Broadway smash hit while onboard Allure of the Seas.
Royal Caribbean Cruises can always be found at a port near you - Great florida ports to cruise from include Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral. Use our Royal Caribbean Cruise Port Search Search - Cruise from where you live to view all the ports Royal Caribbean Cruises from.
