Caribbean Cruises, Cruises to the Caribbean
For many people, the ideal vacation of a lifetime would
be a cruise in the Caribbean.
Just having the opportunity to relax and be pampered
aboard a luxurious ship seems to be the ultimate in
travel. And knowing that the ship will dock at some
of the most beautiful tropical islands in the world
certainly makes this type of vacation seem even more
appealing.
Some couples choose to book cruise vacations for their
honeymoons and, indeed, a Caribbean cruise can be an
amazingly romantic destination. Strolling along the
ship s deck together, gazing at the bright blue waters
of the Caribbean
Sea, and occasionally spotting a dolphin in the ocean what
could be more special? Taking moonlit walks around the
ship s perimeter, hand-in-hand with your new spouse nothing
can quite compare to how peaceful and beautiful the
ocean looks in the evening.
And cruise ships are well-known for their amazing cuisine. Most ships offer several different dining options, from fine dining (which requires a particular dress code, in some cases), to informal café-type eateries. Some restaurants may be open for 24 hours each day, or they may at least have room service available for guests. No one will go hungry on a Caribbean cruise, that s for sure!
Caribbean
cruises are filled with activities as well. Nothing
is mandatory, of course cruise guests may choose to
partake in activities or not, whatever they want to
do. Activities may include exercise programs, game tournaments,
dance competitions, and more, depending upon the cruise
line.
Nearly every cruise ship has at least one swimming pool,
which isn t surprising. Most also have Jacuzzis, hot
tubs, and saunas available. Guests can even opt to select
cabin suites that have in-room saunas and hot tubs on
some cruise lines.
Speaking of the cabin suites, there are many different
types of suites and rooms available, depending upon
the cruise
line on which one travels, of course. Basic rooms
may have bunk beds these aren t very conducive to romance,
so most romantic couples are going to want to spend
a little more for a more deluxe cabin or suite. Travelers
can choose rooms and suites that have views of the ocean
or not; this is really a personal decision. Ocean view
cabins are more costly, and it may not be worth it for
some travelers. On the other hand, some vacationers
may want an ocean view suite because some come with
private outside balconies.
Caribbean
cruises generally dock at one or more ports of call
during a cruise. These tropical spots can add a lot
of flavor to a honeymoon or romantic holiday. Travelers
can find locally-made products, such as jewelry and
textiles. And, they can also try out some of the activities
of the dock area many of which are led by either cruise
employees or people hired by the cruise. These activities
may include rock climbing, surfing, parasailing, and
snorkeling.
Going on a Caribbean cruise can be like going on the
vacation of your dreams. No matter what cruise line
you opt for, you are sure to have the time of your life.
